This year marks the 70^th anniversary of SME CPAs, one of the leading accounting firms in the region being nationally recognized as one of America’s Best Tax Firm in Forbes, listed in the top 400 CPA Firms by Inside Public Accounting and rated Best of Accounting for Client Satisfaction by Clearly Related. SME serves a variety of clients in Georgia, South Carolina, and throughout the U.S. through our affiliation with CPAmerica. Having a diverse client base that stretches across many different business industries, governments, nonprofit sectors, and individuals is what helps SME CPAs thrive.

SME CPAs has been a cornerstone in the community since 1952 starting out as a very small two-person firm which has grown to be the largest local accounting firm in the Greater Augusta Region with 55 employees. SME CPAs professionals are known for their community involvement throughout the Greater Augusta Region serving on non-profit Boards and volunteering in the community.
