Lucy Craft Laney Museum of Black History’s Official Re-Opening

The Lucy Craft Laney Museum is very pleased to announce the official re-opening of the Lucy Craft Laney Museum of Black History, located at 1116 Phillips Street. The Museum was closed due to Covid and then 10 months for major renovations to the 111-year-old building. Renovations included installing a new elevator and extensive repairs to the inside and outside of the building.

DHL Taps Savannah Gateway Industrial Hub’s Dual Rail Access and Proximity to Nation’s Third Busiest Port for New Import Facility

The Broe Group’s Savannah Gateway Industrial Hub (SGIH) has added global logistics leader DHL to its 2,600-acre industrial park near the Port of Savannah. A division of German logistics firm Deutsche Post, DHL’s new SGIH import operation will leverage the Port of Savannah’s connectivity to and from global markets, it’s superior access to domestic markets, and its capacity to scale with increasing demand.
