theClubhou.se Hosts Crowdfunding Event for Startups

Want a chance to help grow Augusta’s newest businesses? With an initial investment of just $15, you can—through Crowdfunding Demo Day, hosted by theClubhou.se

On Wednesday, May 10, from 6 to 8 p.m. on its rooftop terrace, theClubhou.se—Augusta’s startup incubator—hosts its first Crowdfunding Demo Day, where several local startups will pitch their new businesses to a live audience. Tickets are $15, and attendees receive three $5 “Startup Funding Bucks” so they can vote for the business pitch that resonates most with them. Additional “Startup Funding Bucks” are also available for purchase throughout the evening.  

At the end of the event, startups will receive a check in the amount of the “Startup Funding Bucks” they earned. 

The Crowdfunding Demo Day is a special edition of theClubhou.se’s regular Beer & Bytes event. Food and drinks are included, courtesy of title sponsor ATDC. 

The presenting startups are all recent graduates of theClubhou.se’s Make Startups entrepreneurial certificate program. Companies include a cybersecurity firm, a youth development nonprofit, a mobile events company, a first responders assistance nonprofit, a full-service marketing firm, a homeownership coaching company and an indoor farm community enterprise.
