Celebrating 2023 Best In Business and Entrepreneurial Fortitude at Member Economic Luncheon
Wednesday, December 6th, 2023
Join the Augusta Metro Chamber on Thursday, December 7th at the Augusta Marriott for the 2023 Best In Business awards during the final Member Economic Luncheon of the year. This annual celebration recognizes Augusta’s Entrepreneur, presented by South State Bank, and Corporation of the Year, honoring the individuals and companies who have distinguished themselves in business and commitment to the Greater Augusta region. This year’s luncheon will also feature a guest panel of past entrepreneur award recipients discussing Entrepreneurial Fortitude: Staying the Course.
Panel members include Loop Recruiting’s Founding Partners Jason Kennedy and Charlie Wall, along with Dennis Trotter, Founding Partner of Jordan Trotter Commercial Real Estate, and Allan Soto, Founder & CEO of Vinea Capital. The panel will be moderated by Randy Hatcher, CEO of MAU Workforce Solutions.
Jason Kennedy brings fifteen years of recruiting and HR experience to his company. Jason earned multiple industry certifications and awards before founding Loop in 2015. Jason is actively involved in the Augusta Exchange Club and Trinity on the Hill Methodist Church. Charlie Wall began his career in technology, sales, and project management. In addition to his leadership role in operations, Charlie is an essential contributor to Loop’s business development initiatives. Dennis Trotter has been in all aspects of commercial brokerage and development since 2002 and has brokered and developed over 100 ground-up projects for nationally branded users. Dennis is currently a Trustee at Episcopal Day School and chairman of the Augusta Metro Chamber Board of Directors. Allan Soto founded Vinea Capital in 2017. Through faith and determination, Allan has grown what started as a single location group home for adults with developmental disabilities into an incubator for ventures in several business verticals. Randy Hatcher has worked for MAU Workforce Solutions, a family-owned business founded by his father, since 1978. When Randy joined the company, it had just seven full-time employees. Today, MAU’s reach extends internationally, and it is one of the largest independently owned staffing firms in North America.
The luncheon begins at 11:30 am and tickets are $45 for Chamber members, $55 for prospective members. Purchase a corporate table of 8 seats for a discounted rate. Member Economic Luncheon series sponsors include Doctors Hospital, South State Bank, Uniti Fiber, Azalea Investments and Augusta Magazine. Advanced registration required at augustametrochamber.com.
