Georgia Chamber to Host the New Georgia Economy Tour in Augusta Today

The Georgia Chamber of Commerce is hosting a series of events known collectively as the 2024 New Georgia Economy Tour (NGE Tour). Presented by Georgia CEO and Georgia Association of Broadcasters, the NGE Tour will gather input and data from every region of the state to prepare a comprehensive planning strategy for 2025 and beyond. The next stop is June 18 at Augusta University in the Georgia Cancer Center – M. Bert Storey Research Building from 11:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. 

“Our goal with the Tour is to listen and collect information from hardworking Georgians that will help us create a strategic plan for the future of our state’s economy,” shared Georgia Chamber President and CEO Chris Clark. “Since 2020, our strategic initiatives have focused on determining the issues that will most impact our competitiveness and affect Georgia’s ability to attract and maintain continued economic development success. As we shift our focus to 2025 and beyond, we hope to garner input from our local chamber partners to develop solutions and recommendations that secure the future of prosperity of Georgia.”
