Club Car Makes Largest Gift of Funds Raised from Club Car Championship to United Way of the CSRA

Club Car leaders made a substantial donation to United Way of the CSRA building on a nearly 30-year relationship of partnership and support. Robert McElreath, Vice President of Connectivity of Club Car, presented a check for $114,000 To Brittany Burnett, Chief Executive Officer of United Way of the CSRA.
During the presentation, McElreath said, “Club Car Global Headquarters, Main Manufacturing Plant and Distribution Operations are all located in the CSRA and we are excited to give back and support the community that gives so much to us.”
As title sponsor for the Club Car Championship at the Landings Golf & Athletic Club, Club Car works with key supplier partners to raise funds that support United Way and other charitable causes. This donation brings the company’s three year giving from funds raised through the annual Korn Ferry Tour event to more than $250,000.
“Our relationship with Club Car spans nearly 30 years and is a great example of corporate citizenship. The Club Car team is committed to donating more than money and employees continue to volunteer their time, effort and resources to United Way and to our partner agencies,” said Brittany Burnett, Chief Executive Officer for United Way of the CSRA.
United Way recently launched its Annual Giving Campaign which engages local residents and employers to give to support United Way programs like 2-1-1, Ride United and the United Way partner agencies that provide resources to benefit families in the region.
“We are excited to make our largest contribution from the Club Car Championship today and reflect on our recent service day at Project Serve and as we join companies around the community to kick off our annual employee giving campaign,” McElreath added.
