Georgia #32 for Business Tax Climate

Georgia ranks 32nd on the Tax Foundation’s 2014 State Business Tax Climate Index.
The annual list from the right-leaning organization ranks states by a variety of taxes. Georgia ranked No. 8 for corporate tax, No. 41 for individual income tax, No. 12 for sales tax, No. 24 for unemployment insurance tax and No. 31 for property tax. The higher the score, the better.
Georgia’s overall ranking of 32nd compares with No. 35 in 2013 and No. 32 in 2012.
