City Leaders Prepare for Fort Gordon Expansion

Fort Gordon is officially the new Army Cyber Command headquarters, and workers are already making their way to the area.
City leaders gathered on Wednesday and discussed preparations for the thousands coming to the CSRA in the next three years.
CSRA Alliance of Fort Gordon Executive Director Thom Tuckey said high tech employees with high paying jobs are coming from all over the nation, and will bring big business to the area.
“We anticipate growth of about 4,000 employees to Fort Gordon over the next 3 to 4 years,” said Tuckey. It’s not only the workers that will bring growth.
