Delta Air Lines Inc. is jacking up the price of membership in its Delta Sky Club from $450 to $695 annually.

The executive membership will continue to allow two complimentary guests and an individual membership at the current rate of $450 will be introduced Spring 2014 for those customers who rarely need guest access. The individual membership will allow guest access for $29 per visit, the company reported.

Existing club members now have an executive membership for the duration of your their membership agreement, the company said in an e-mail.

The Atlanta-based airline giant, who according to Atlanta Business Chronicle research is Atlanta's top employer, reported in December that it expects $40 billion in revenue in 2014.
