Newtek Business Services, The Small Business Authority, announced the release of the SB Authority Index of small business indicators for November 2013 reaching 123.48 points.  Retail sales, the Russell Microcap Index, and the ADP employment report led the increase.  The SB Authority Index is up 0.78% from October 2013.  On a year-over-year comparison, the SB Authority Index is up 6.85%.

Barry Sloane, Chairman, President and CEO of The Small Business Authority commented, "As the year comes to a close, the same old story holds true. As the Fed's easy money policy has driven large gains in consumer spending as well as robust performance leading the stock market, and as the new Fed chairman starts to unwind quantitative easing bond purchases, it will be important to see if the small business economy is affected."
