Property Owners Lose Business Due to Free Patron Parking

Free parking is a perk patrons can take advantage of when they come to the Augusta National Golf Club for the Masters.
In the past year, officials have expanded the parking, making it hard for property owners to bring in the bucks.
There are more than 8,500 free parking spaces available on Berckmans Road for patrons coming to the course. This number is not appealing for those trying to bring in business on Washington Road. Property owners say they had to drop their prices, and up the perks to get more cars in their lots.
Parking signs are visible all along Washington Road. Dozens of people trying to bring in customers to their lots near Augusta National Golf Club.
