Aiken School of Cosmetology to Hold Charity Fashion Show on May 9th

Aiken School of Cosmetology is holding the Decades of Hair Fashion Show on Friday, May 9, 2014 at 6:30 pm at the USCA Convocation Center. Proceeds from the fashion show will benefit the Children’s Cancer Center.
Models in the fashion show are paired with a cosmetology student who will style the model’s hair and create a look for the model according to each of three categories. Categories for the show include Decades of Hair, Formal and Avant Garde.
Owner of Aiken School of Cosmetology, Angela Morrison, explains, “We hold a fashion show twice a year to give our students a fun way to practice what they have learned in school, and it allows us to raise money to give back to the community.”
The Decades of Hair Fashion Show will take place in the upper gym at the USCA Convocation Center. Tickets are $5 per person, and all proceeds go to the Children’s Cancer Center. Tickets may be purchased at the event.
