The North Augusta Chamber of Commerce will host a business power lunch on Thursday, June 5th, 2014, 11:00 a.m. at the Palmetto Terrace. The event is presented by SRP Federal Credit Union. Dr. Bruce Yandle, a leading state expert in Economics, will be the keynote speaker. Dr. Yandle is Dean Emeritus of the College of Business and Behavioral Science at Clemson University. The presentation will focus on our local path to prosperity – an examination of recent accomplishments, challenges and opportunities facing the local economy, as well as assessing the local business climate. The strength of a community’s business climate is directly connected to local business success and effective economic development efforts.
