Clients Served:  In May we served 337 client families with 845 individuals. 36% of these were under 18 and 16% were 60 and over. As of the end of May, we had 550 client families registered with us.  27% live in Grovetown, 23% live in Harlem, 14% live in Appling, 32% live in Martinez-Evans the remaining 1% live outside Columbia County. 2% are registered as Homeless.   26 new families were registered in May.  

Donations and Fund Raisers:

Food Donations:  Food donations in May totaled 18,236 lbs.  Churches donated 744 lbs, Individuals 352 lbs, Organizations 642 lbs, Grocery Stores 2398 lbs.  1000 lbs of food was acquired from the Golden Harvest free area.  There were 3 major food drives in May.  The Evans HS Math Club collected 850lbs, and Greenbrier HS Junior Class collected 250 lbs.  The Post Office Food Drive which GHFB allowed us to collect from Appling and Grovetown post offices collected in excess of 10,000 lbs.  Additionally when United We Care pantry was forced to close its doors, we acquired an additional 2000lbs of food from them.
Monetary:
Contributions from 11 Churches were $1,558.26.  Contributions from Individuals were $480.  Contributions from Organizations were $265 and the proceeds from the Gala fundraiser provided us an additional $6,036.25.

Volunteer Time:  In May 48 volunteers put in a total of 768 hours.  Church Of The Latter Day Saints volunteered at the pantry and 9 volunteers completed 22 hours of service
