East Georgia State College Augusta Employees Recognized at Appreciation Luncheon

As part of East Georgia State College’s customer service initiative, an employee recognition luncheon was held for the faculty and staff at the EGSC Augusta. The special faculty/staff gathering was held to express sincere appreciation for outstanding service and dedication to the college and students. The faculty and staff’s contributions have led to a culture of excellence and have assisted EGSC in maintaining its outstanding reputation as a premier access institution in the University System of Georgia.

Faculty and staff enjoyed a delicious luncheon and fellowship prior to the program. Employees were recognized for service milestones. Outstanding faculty and staff were also honored at the annual event.

President Bob Boehmer welcomed the faculty and staff and emphasized what each individual means to the college. Human Resources Coordinator, Josey Cameron, emceed the event, while President Boehmer congratulated each recipient.

The service recognition program honored full-time faculty and staff for service milestones falling within the current fiscal year beginning at the employee’s five year anniversary at EGSC and continuing at five-year intervals.

Charlene Blankenship, administrative assistant, was recognized as STAR staff members for exemplary service teamwork, attitude, and reliability (STAR).

EGSC Augusta Director, Dr. Jeff Edgers, thanked everyone for their outstanding service to the students and the center.
