Georgia Military College’s Community Involvement Club, a student organization made of students interested in volunteerism and giving to those in need, is promoting 2 different events this summer.

1) Shepeard Community Blood Center’s Bloodmobile will be on campus for a blood drive on Tuesday, July 8^th from 10 am – 2 pm. This event is open to anyone to donate blood, not just our students!

2) We are collecting DVD’s and VHS tapes, new or used, in good working condition, to help create a media library for residents of Bon Air Apartments, a facility for low-income, disabled individuals on fixed incomes, who sometimes can’t afford cable or the entertainment options, such as Redbox or Netflix, that many of us enjoy. Residents will be able to check out movies at no cost to view in their apartments on site. Donations are being accepted through July 13th . The donation collection box is located in the back lobby at Georgia Military College’s Augusta campus.
