Pate, McGee Named to Engineering Team at EDTS

Josh McGee and Glenn Pate have joined IT firm EDTS as engineers. The rapidly growing IT firm, which provides managed IT services, network security, and advanced infrastructure solutions to Southeastern businesses, named McGee as a systems engineer and Pate as a support engineer. They will support client requirements across the firm’s Augusta, Columbia and Greenville office footprint.
“Josh and Glenn are proven and capable IT professionals with significant experience in serving the sophisticated network security and support needs of middle market and large organizations,” said Charles Johnson, CEO of EDTS. “Their experience and outstanding service ethic make them excellent additions to the EDTS team.”
Mr. McGee is both a native and current resident of North Augusta, South Carolina, and holds an Associate degree in Computer Technology with emphasis in Networking and Programming from Aiken Technical College. His five years of IT experience includes network security, vulnerability monitoring and assessment, software deployment and user support at the National Nuclear Security Administration’s MOX Fuel Fabrication Facility in Aiken, South Carolina.
With over 30 years of IT networking, security and support experience in multiple industries, Mr. Pate is a native of Passaic, New Jersey and current Augusta resident. Prior to joining EDTS, he served in IT network support and security roles for New Jersey’s TRC Companies and at a regional credit union. He is an honors graduate of DeVry University with an Associate degree in Network Administration.
Both Mr. McGee and Mr. Pate will help ensure that critical IT systems are available, optimized, and secure for EDTS clients, while helping those organizations increase team productivity and reduce cost associated with information technology.
