There are many ways to contribute to the success of Habitat for Humanity of North Augusta --- through direct contributions, by supplying building material or delivering much needed services. One individual who has contributed his valuable time and excellent professional expertise is Donald H. White P.C. Mr. White has been relentless in his efforts to assure that each property either donated to or purchased by HFHNA is free and clear of all encumbrances. He also completes the house closings for our Habitat family partners. His efforts serve to protect HFHNA and the donor/seller of each property which the Partner Family. His efforts benefit to the entire CSRA community. 

Donald H. White has been a resident of the North Augusta community for more than 44 years. In fact he graduated from North Augusta high school in 1976 with honors. There is a reason for his tenacity of a bulldog in insuring each property is free and clear. He is a graduate of the University of Georgia where he earned his Bachelor’s Degree in 1980 but he didn’t stop there. He continued and received his Jurist Doctor Degree in 1984 also from the University of Georgia. Truly a Georgia Bulldog at heart! He has been practicing law in both South Carolina and Georgia for about 30 years with offices in North Augusta and Augusta. During these many years of practice, he has been responsible for property closings of 10s of thousands of home in the CSRA certainly contributing to the economic growth of the community. 

It is clear to see that Mr. White is a very busy individual but this being said, he also contributes to the surrounding community in many, many other ways. As a member of the First Baptist Church of North Augusta for more than 40 years, he has served as a Deacon, Sunday school teacher and sits on various committees within the church. As though this isn’t enough, Mr. White also has been an active coach for youth sports for the past 16 years for the North Augusta Recreation Department. He is an active member of the North Augusta Yellow Jacket Club and has been a sponsor of the North Augusta High School “Moot Court” team competing in the South Carolina Bar Association’s statewide high school competition. Quite a resume’ but it doesn’t stop there. Donald has also served as a past Board Chairman of the Augusta United Way’s Family Counseling Center and past President of the Augusta Bar Association Young Lawyers and is currently a member of the Board of the North Augusta Chamber of Commerce. 

We at Habitat for Humanity of North Augusta are extremely grateful for those who volunteer their expertise to insure the success of HFHNA. Donald H. White exemplifies the outstanding character of our community and we cannot thank him enough for his most valuable contribution to HFHNA for these many years.
