Thursday, July 24th, 2014
Business leaders are always looking for opportunities to learn, but every leader has little time to spare. This is why The John Maxwell Company created the L2: Learn - Lead Simulcast event. Through the partnership of The John Maxwell Company and Leadership Coach Tanika Mason, Augusta, GA has been selected as 1 of 300 global sites to host this inaugural event. This event features John C. Maxwell, the world's number one leadership speaker. This broadcast will take place, live, on Friday October 10th, 2014, starting at 8am at The Salvation Army Kroc Center of Augusta beginning at 8am. During this event attendees will learn how to lift their vision and be inspired to become a better leader in their business, team, family and local community.
In addition to Maxwell speaking, Linda Kaplan Thaler and Tim Sanders will be featured speakers. Thaler is a best-selling author and is responsible for some of America’s most famous, relevant and touching advertising campaigns such as “I’m a Toys ‘R’ Us Kid,” the AFLAC duck, and the “Yes, Yes, Yes” Herbal Essence campaign. Sanders is an Internet pioneer (former Yahoo executive) and best-selling author who advises Fortune 500 executives on leadership, marketing and new media strategies to grow their business. After the seminar there will also be the opportunity for attendees to attend and participate in a networking luncheon and small business expo.
“This half day event will be powerful for CEO’s, business owners, leadership teams and anyone who wants to improve in their leadership skills,” Mason says. “Having been influenced by John Maxwell through much of my professional and personal life, I am excited to be able to bring this influential event to our city. The goal is to help the Augusta and CSRA business community become stronger leaders at home, in their daily work, and in their local communities.”
