Discovery Zone Kids is holding its ribbon cutting ceremony and open house from 4:30pm-6:30pm on the 24^th of September.  Come join us in our celebration, tour our facility, and enjoy complimentary refreshments, door prizes and much more!

Its location makes it extremely convenient for working parents as it is surrounded by neighborhoods and schools and is en route to Gate 2 of Fort Gordon.  Discovery Zone Kids’ mission is to promote learning through fun and engaging activities. Discovery Zone Kids’ idea to bring together all ages for learning purposes under one roof promotes more family time and cuts down on driving time. It is the only center of its kind that will not only provide childcare services but will also provide enrichment services in every subject including foreign languages.  As enrollment increases, more educational and enrichment activities will be added to the regular childcare services. The center will operate Monday through Friday from 5:30am to 6:30pm and will serve children from 6 weeks to 12 years of age.   

Discovery Zone Kids is designed to teach math, art, science, social studies, English, foreign languages and eventually music, as well as health and fitness. It will also provide a site for students who are enrolled in Georgia’s K-12 virtual program or need homework help. The center will have a 20 computer classroom and teachers dedicated to these children to assist them in their educational journey.  Jayshri Soni is the owner and the director of the center.  She has been working in the field of education for the last nineteen years.  She spent ten of these years as a classroom teacher.  For the last nine years, she worked as the director of tutoring companies she owned and operated in the states of Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, and California.  She brings a variety of educational and management experiences with her to Discovery Zone Kids.
