Friday, September 26th, 2014
The Riverwalk Revival, set for Thursday October 23rd, has gained new partners with the Augusta Parks and Recreation, the Downtown Development Authority, and Georgia Regents University. “This is beneficial to everyone involved with this benefit concert. We need the whole CSRA to support our efforts, and this is a great step in the right direction.” – George Claussen, CEO of Friends With Benefits Fund. The benefit concert will feature Yonder Mountain String Band with support from The Larry Keel Experience and local favorites, Delta Cane. Gates open at 5:30 at the Jessye Norman Amphitheater (15 Ninth Street) in beautiful downtown Augusta. The Riverwalk Amphitheater is a wonderful, but underutilized venue, and this concert will bring it back to life while benefitting Jordan’s House and The Bond Crosby Fund.
