Aiken County public, private and homeschool students and families are invited to attend the Aiken Early College Open House at Aiken Technical College on Thursday, November 13.

This event will provide interested students and their families a chance to learn more about the dual enrollment opportunities offered through ATC’s newly launched Aiken Early College program.

“We are excited to welcome students and their families to campus to talk about Aiken Early College and all the program has to offer,” said ATC Marketing & Student Experience Coordinator and Aiken Early College advisor Tiffannie Hedin.  “Earning college credits at a reduced cost while still in high school is invaluable to college-bound students and can enable them to enter the collegiate world with a complete year of college under their belts.”

The open house will be held from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the Community Room of the Health Sciences Building (1200/1400 Building). The evening will include a scheduled presentation outlining the program, its requirements and cost savings, followed by a drop-in session and open forum for questions and answers. In addition, the program advisor and ATC staff will be available to assist with applications, course inquiries and addition questions. Light refreshments will also be served.
