First Unisys Job Event Held in Augusta, Hiring to Start This Week

Job seekers poured into First Baptist Church of Augusta on Monday, hoping for an introduction with global information technology firm Unisys.
The Georgia Department of Labor held a recruitment event for the Pennsylvania-based company, which is hiring the first wave of employees for a new information technology support center in Augusta. Unisys plans to hire employees in groups of 40, with the first set expected to undergo training to start working in mid-January.
