GDOL to Host Recruitment for UNISYS in Augusta on Nov. 17th

The Georgia Department of Labor (GDOL) will host a customized recruitment for UNISYS in Augusta on Monday, Nov. 17, to fill a number of positions for the company’s new facility. The recruitment will be from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. at Augusta First Baptist Church, 3500 Walton Way Extension.
Unisys is a global information technology (IT) company that solves complex IT challenges and helps businesses and governments protect their assets. The company expects to hire 250 employees in the first year of operation. The first group of newly hired employees is expected to undergo training and be on the job by mid-January.
The positions to be filled include: site operations manager, senior knowledge manager, junior knowledge manager, team manager, help desk manager, service request manager, problem management analyst, incident management analyst, technical service request coordinator, and service desk trainer.

Customized recruitment is a specialized program of the GDOL’s Business Services Unit, which was created by State Labor Commissioner Mark Butler to enhance services to employers. Customized recruitment provides new employers with individualized recruiting assistance designed to streamline their recruiting process, help them attract and hire the most qualified candidates, and reduce expenses.
