New Augusta Administrator Janice Allen Jackson Begins Today

She doesn’t exactly have an office and takes the reins during a transitional time, but Augusta native Janice Allen Jackson begins work Monday as the city’s newest administrator.
“I think it’s going to be good for me, as sort of a ‘no place like home’ feeling,” Jackson said last week while relocating her family to her parents’ home on Cherry Avenue, where she grew up.
