The North Augusta Chamber will present American Heroes: A Salute to Veterans on November 19^th as part of their A.M. Connection series. Keynote presenter, Retired Brigadier General Jeff Foley, will speak on the importance of veterans in our community, as well as how they can be best utilized in our workforce. The Chamber hopes to bring much-needed awareness for veterans and veterans’ affairs, and will include mini-info sessions from the Riverfront Marines Detachment #1132, American Legion Post 71, Aiken/Augusta Wounded Warrior Project and Fort Gordon on the program agenda. Veterans in our local workforce will also be recognized.
