City to Fund Valencia Way Extension if 'Major Manufacturer' Builds Plant in Augusta

A commitment by city officials to extend a road in Augusta Corporate Park could help pave the way for a new manufacturer interested in Augusta.
The Augusta Commission approved the construction of a 1-mile extension of Valencia Way if the interested, unidentified industrial company announces its intent on or before Feb. 1 and begins construction on the plant on or before Sept. 1.
