DeKalb County Announces Open Position for Development Authority President

DeKalb County announces the open position of president of the Development Authority of DeKalb County (DADC). Reporting to the Board of the DADC, the president will be responsible for the development and implementation of strategies to assist with business growth and expansion throughout DeKalb County. Among other duties, the position will be tasked with helping to improve DeKalb's local economy, creating jobs, and diversifying the tax base. Minimum qualifications for this role include a bachelor's degree with coursework in economic development, planning, business, public administration, or a related field, and ten years of increasing experience in economic development, planning and/or policy development. Applicants must also live in or become a resident of DeKalb County within six months of employment.
