Starting December 10, Georgia residents have even more places to find the best products and services to meet their wireless needs. AT&T has upgraded the former Alltel retail locations in the state and opened them under the AT&T brand. 

AT&T wants everyone who walks through the door of an AT&T store to receive smart, friendly and fast service. In fact, J.D. Power recently awarded AT&T the "Highest Satisfaction with the Purchase Experience among Full-Service Wireless Providers, Three Times in a Row" in its 2014, Volume 2 study.

Rebranding Alltel's retail stores is just the first step. AT&T has also upgraded the former Alltel network in Georgia to combine the strength of Alltel's local coverage with AT&T's 4G LTE network, the most reliable 4G LTE network in the nation, covering more than 300 million people.3

In early 2015, more than 100,000 former Alltel wireless customers in Georgia will begin using new devices that work on AT&T's network. AT&T will let customers know when it's time to activate their new devices.
