Augusta Mayor Ready to Hire Staff and Remove Business Barriers

The first 2 weeks have been a preview into Augusta Mayor Hardie Davis' 4 year term. Mayor Davis says he's ready to get to work and keep promises. News 12's Jorge Lopez has more on Mayor Davis' plans to make it easier to attract businesses to the city.
Augusta Mayor Hardie Davis can now hire and fire his own staff.
"I'm pleased that the commissioners were willing to work with me in that regard and that we were able to successfully get that done in our first meeting," Mayor Davis told News 12.
