Barney's Pharmacy, 2604 Peach Orchard Rd., Augusta, GA 30906, has been owned by Barry Bryant for 30 Years this past September 2014! Mr. Bryant, himself, is a Pharmacist (graduating from UGA). His three lovely daughters are all Pharmacists (graduating from USC). Vanessa Hoffman is the Pharmacy Manager over our Long Term Care Department and Brittany Smith is a Pharmacist at our Peach Orchard location. Stephanie Tankersley is the Pharmacy Manager at the Grovetown location. Mr Bryant has two granddaughters (Vanessa) and a new grandson (Stephanie) born this past November.

3.) Barry Bryant - NARD Award

The National Community Pharmacists Association (NCPA) Foundation announced today that Barry Bryant, RPh, the owner of seven community pharmacies in Augusta, Ga., is the recipient of this year's NARD™ Ownership Award. The award was presented at NCPA's 116th Annual Convention and Trade Exposition, held Oct. 18-22 in Austin, Texas.

Sponsored by the NCPA Foundation, the NARD Ownership Award, now in its third year, recognizes an independent pharmacist who embraces the entrepreneurial spirit through promotion and demonstrated excellence in the field of community pharmacy ownership. The award is inspired by the legacy of NARD, which was, for nearly 100 years, the name associated with independent pharmacy. The National Community Pharmacists Association was founded in 1898 as the National Association of Retail Druggists.
