The Georgia Department of Labor (GDOL) will host a customized recruitment for UNISYS in Augusta on Tuesday, Jan. 6, to fill a number of positions for the company’s new facility. The recruitment will be held from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. at the Double Tree Hotel, 2651 Perimeter Parkway. 

Unisys is a global information technology (IT) company that solves complex IT challenges and helps businesses and governments protect their assets.  

The positions to be filled include: site operations manager, team manager, and help-desk technician. 

Applicants for site operations manager must have a bachelor’s degree in information technology (IT) or computer science and at least five years experience in operational management. 

Those who apply for the team manager positions must have at least two years of customer service supervisory experience in IT or telecommunications, along with a high school diploma or a General Education Diploma (GED). 

Applicants as help-desk technicians must have a high school diploma or GED and at least five years experience working in a call center, or at least one year’s experience working on a help desk with appropriate certifications.
