A strong U.S. economy helped push the stock market even higher in 2014 and many Georgia companies stood to benefit.
In Georgia, Atlanta-based Delta Air Lines Inc. had the biggest year in the bull market that is expected to have its sixth anniversary in March. The airline opened the year Jan. 2 at 27.26 and closed Dec. 26 at 48.05.
