Commissioner Wants City to Take Over Bus System

Some commissioners want to get back into the drivers seat of the bus system after the company in charge admits to not reporting accidents. Now the city is looking to take it all back while one commissioner is asking whether that's the right decision.
It's been a bumpy ride for Augusta Public Transit.
"It's hectic, it's hectic riding it," said daily rider Clow Carter.
Now that a 3-month probation is wrapping up for the city's bus contractor, McDonald Transit, one commissioner says it time for a change.
