The Salvation Army Center of Hope is in Need of Lawn Equipment
Press release from the issuing company
Wednesday, March 25th, 2015
The Center of Hope is in desperate need of lawn equipment. Our old mowers and trimmers are beyond repair. Lawn maintenance is done through our work therapy, an important part of our substance abuse rehabilitation program that prepares participants to re-enter society and return to gainful employment
The Center of Hope is The Salvation Army’s homeless service center that provides meals, shelter and case management services to homeless men, women and children. It also houses our substance abuse rehab program that helps men recovering from alcohol or drug abuse regain a productive lifestyle.
We are asking the community for help. If anyone has a working lawn mower or trimmer and willing to donate it for a good cause, please contact The Salvation Army’s Director of Development John Sebby at: 706-550-2796.
