The Georgia Department of Labor will host a recruiting event in Augusta for Unisys Wednesday, April 15, to help the company hire 20 helpdesk technicians for a call center in Richmond County. Unisys is an information technology (IT) company.  

The recruitment will be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the GDOL’s Augusta Career Center, 601 Greene St.     

Applicants must have a high school diploma, or a General Education Diploma (GED), and at least five years of experience working in a call center.  If applicants have no work experience, they should have at least a bachelor’s degree in IT.  

Those who apply should bring resumes, be prepared to interview, and dress appropriately to improve their opportunities for employment.
