There are 39 film and television projects underway simulataneously throughout the state, the most that’s ever been, said Lee Thomas, the Deputy Commissioner of Film, Music and Digital Entertainment for the state.
Thomas, who spoke Monday to the Rotary Club of Augusta, said that has a lot to do with the incentive-driven nature of the industry. In the early days of the state office, filming in Georgia was more location driven.
