Leaders Consider Fixing Up James Brown Statue Downtown

Papa might already have a brand new bag but soon he could have a new look too. The Godfather of Soul's Statue in Downtown Augusta could be getting some new additions.
The city has a new subcommittee trying to attract business but more importantly visitors looking for soul.
"We are not trying to generate revenue as a result of exposing James Brown--the business will benefit because it will make it kind of a tourist attraction so that's our intent at the end of the day," Augusta Commissioner Ben Hasan said.
