Mayor Hardie Davis' First 100 Days in Office

Elected in June of 2014, he finally took office in January of 2015. Now, just a few months into his administration, Mayor Hardie Davis sat down WJBF News Channel 6's Kimberely Scott to reflect on his first 100 days in office.
"Well, it's been exciting, I think, when we look back over the last 100 days. It's been an opportunity to learn, it's been an opportunity where we've experienced challenges, but more than anything, we have a better understanding and appreciation of how local government operates," said Augusta Mayor Hardie Davis, Jr.
And, the way that the Augusta Commission operates is...6 votes and it passes. The Mayor can break a tie, but he does not have veto power.
