Phillips Staffing’s Shirley Kelley Joins Anderson Area SHRM Board

Upstate human resources professional Shirley D. Kelley has been selected to serve as Secretary on the Board of Directors of the Anderson Area Society of Human Resource Management. Ms. Kelley is Anderson Branch Manager for Phillips Staffing, one of South Carolina’s largest and fastest-growing staffing and human capital solution providers,
AASHRM serves Anderson County’s human resource professionals by providing continuing education opportunities in management while developing competencies that benefit both members and the companies they represent. AASHRM also provides opportunities to exchange information, ideas, processes, and systems among HR professionals, equipping them to advance as leaders and decision-makers within their organizations.
As Secretary of the AASHRM chapter, Ms. Kelley will support Board efforts to provide an exchange of ideas, experiences, methods and professional development initiatives of interest on HR management topics among AASHRM members. Her duties will include taking Board minutes at AASHRM meetings and distributing them, voting on a range of matters, and developing and issuing a variety of communications to chapter members.
A native and current resident of Pickens, South Carolina, Ms. Kelley joined Phillips in 2012 as Anderson Branch Manager, and has over 15 years of experience in staff development and training, administrative support, customer service and sales, and talent recruitment and management. Ms. Kelley also serves as an Ambassador for the Anderson Chamber of Commerce.
As Anderson Branch Manager, Ms. Kelley works with new and existing clients across the region to provide staffing and human capital solutions that lead to increased growth and success for those clients. She focuses her time working with businesses and organizations seeking talent primarily in the areas of light industrial, logistics and distribution, accounting, finance, office management and construction.
