Ride-Sharing Company Uber Mulls Augusta Entry

The possibility of ride-sharing company Uber expanding into the Augusta area looks “promising,” a company spokeswoman says.
Last month, Uber began posting ads on job search engines such as Monster and Indeed seeking part- and full-time drivers in Augusta who would serve riders using the Uber app, which allows passengers to set up transportation through their smartphones.
