From May 12-14, visitors from Lakes College West Cumbria in the United Kingdom are visiting Augusta Technical College’s Nuclear Engineering Technology Program. Escorted by Ian Bond, the Executive Director of the Technical College System of Georgia’s International Center, Chris Nattress, the Principal for Lakes College and Danny Braithwaite, the Deputy Principal of Lakes College, are getting a close up view of technical education in Georgia. Their primary goal is to learn more about the College’s Nuclear Engineering Technology programs and partnerships with Southern Company and Savannah River Nuclear Solutions. In addition, they will be learning more about the Early Child Care Education, Golf Course Management, Environmental Horticulture and Nursing programs.
