The Technology Association of Georgia in collaboration with the Business and Technology Alliance of TAG (B&TA), are now accepting applications and nominations for the 2015 Excalibur Awards. These annual awards recognize Georgia companies and organizations that demonstrate the best use of technology, typically provided by a third-party, to solve complex issues and processes in business and education. Tech-enabled companies that develop their own non-commercial technology solutions to enhance their organization are also encouraged to apply.

Applications will be accepted until September 11, 2015, after which, Semi-Finalists will be selected by the Excalibur Judging Committee. Companies selected as semi-finalists will then be required to meet with the judges for interviewing process.

The winning companies will be recognized in one of five categories:

· Small Companies

· Mid-sized Companies

· Large Companies

· Educational Organizations

· Most Creative Solution

“The effective use of technology goes hand in hand with the production of technology,” said Tino Mantella, president & CEO of TAG.  “The Excalibur Awards provides Georgia’s technology users the opportunity to be recognized for finding creative solutions to complex problems through the utilization of technology.   While the science of tech is accelerating so too is the effectiveness of putting it to work.  The outcome is enhanced services and, often times, improved lives.”
