Dr. Nichole Kennedy Joins Augusta Tech as New VP for Student Services

Augusta Technical College President Terry D. Elam is pleased to announce that Dr. Nichole Kennedy has joined the college as Vice President for Student Services.
Dr. Kennedy served as the Executive Director for Student Affairs for the Technical College System of Georgia. She started at the Atlanta system office in August of 2009. Previously, she was the Director of Enrollment Services at Columbus Technical College as well as the Director of the ACCESS (Admissions, Counseling, and Career Exploration for Student Success) Center at Chattahoochee Technical College. She has a B.S. in Psychology from Virginia Tech, an M.Ed. in Counseling from Auburn University, and an Ed.D.in Higher Education from the University of Georgia. She started her career in higher education eighteen years ago, as a counselor and testing specialist at Chattahoochee Tech, and has experience supervising all areas of student affairs including admissions and recruitment, registration and records, financial aid, career services, disability services, and campus life.
Nichole is active in the Georgia Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admission Officers (GACRAO) and has served on the executive committee for a number of years including a tenure as the GACRAO President in 2011-2012. Nichole is currently serving as the GACRAO Institute of Strategic Enrollment Management chair. She enjoys reading, boating, and watching sports and movies with her husband and two children.
