Queensborough National Bank and Trust Company announces regulatory approval of the purchase certain loans, deposits and two branches of CertusBank, N.A. These branches are located at 7393 Hodgson Memorial Drive, Savannah, GA. and 597 S. Columbia Avenue, Rincon, GA.   

As the specific date for the changeover nears, transition teams from Queensborough and CertusBank will communicate with customers and be on hand to make the process as seamless as possible.

According to Bill Easterlin, CEO and President of Queensborough National Bank and Trust, “We have done this before. Each team is assigned a segment of the operation.  These segments include facilities, signage, deposits, security and the technology behind what is needed to make things work. Our Savannah location on Highway 80 will continue its operations and Mike English will become the Regional SVP of all three branches. Customers of US-80 and both of the new locations will enjoy the expanded conveniences resulting from this purchase. We are prepared; our goal is to make our new customers and all employees feel right at home.”
