Atlanta-Area Group Buys Downtown Augusta Hotel

The Holiday Inn Express on Broad Street near Gordon Highway has been sold to a hotel group from the Atlanta area.
T.R. Reddy, who had completely rebuilt the hotel, said that Global Hotel Group of Stockbridge, Ga., bought the facility for $10.3 million. He said it will remain a Holiday Inn Express and he expects all the current staff to remain in place.
