Funding for Road Through Augusta Corporate Park Approved

Sales tax money for economic development that has been stashed away in city coffers for years will be used for a road leading through Augusta’s corporate park.
The Augusta Economic Development Authority on Wednesday approved a document with the city that would allow it to spend about $2.5 million to create a four-lane road in the Augusta Corporate Park.
