Augusta Convention Center Generates $12.3M in 2015

The operators of the Augusta Convention Center on Tuesday announced that the 44 events held at the venue’s exhibition center in 2015 generated $12.3 million in direct visitor spending.

Construction on the exhibition hall began in June 2010. The facility held its grand opening in February 2013. Augusta Marriott Vice President Darryl Leech said the three-year-old facility has generated $34.1 million since its opening.
