Augusta Leaders Spend More Money to Solve Stormwater Fee

Augusta Commission members voted last week to spend almost a million dollars for consultants to do what should have been done with the rain-tax program before it was implemented in January.
Though they’ve been taxing you for almost four months, they’ve yet to figure out how to do things such as answer customers’ questions or implement the environmental credit program. They still haven’t found all the driveways and other impervious areas to tax.
