Georgians Carry More Debt than Most Americans, but Plan to Pay it Off

A new study from Fifth Third Bank says Georgians may be more “financially savvy” than some of us think.

In fact, the survey showd that while 88 percent of Georgians have a higher overall percentage of debt compared to the national average 70 percent, only 16 percent of Georgians have no plans to pay it off compared to the national average of 30 percent.
